Creamy Butternut Squash Puree

1 Whole Butternut Squash
peeled,seeded,cubed
2 Ripe Anjou Pears
peeled,cored,cubed
1 Medium Onion
peeled and diced
4 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter

Melt butter in saute pan. On med/low heat add rest of ingredients. Saute until everything is soft. Puree with a stick blender or in a food processor.


This is a very simple recipe that tastes much more complex considering its simple ingredients. Try this ,I am sure this will be included often in your fall repertoire of squash recipes!
